Just good coffee! Not bitter, great taste. I’ll usually a cream and sugar drinker but I can do this without either without a problem. It’s that good you want to experience the full flavor of the coffee just the way it is. Love it!

Excellent richness and foam production when used for espresso. More acid than the medium espresso roast and really holds its own for an americano! Great aroma as well.
Taste great. Lacks the slap in the face you get from commercial brands. Keep on roasting.
I was very pleased with the Pysanka Dark Roast coffee from Kavka. The distinct European flavours have a more nutty tone than other dark roasts I've enjoyed. This coffee has a lighter mouth feel and taste than I expected, not as deeply dark as the Zori coffee, but just as delicious. Pysanka would be a wonderful 'gateway coffee' for those who might be reluctant to try the easier drinking, lower caffeine dark roast style.
BEST COFFEE EVER!!! I do NOT drink my coffee black but this coffee...OH EM GEE! I can drink this black! The flavor is off the charts and it is not bitter. I will forever be a customer!

We just opened our dark roast, and the aroma is amazing. The beans smell like dark chocolate and rich coffee. They brew up the same...and we use it as our morning espresso shot. It's delicious.
